Premium Residency Categories

Investor
- For investors with a valid MISA investment license and commercial registration
- Requires investment of at least SAR 7,000,000 (applicant’s share)
- May be fixed-term, renewable, or permanent depending on conditions and investment requirements
Entrepreneur
- For founders/startup owners with a MISA entrepreneur license and accredited funding
- Category 1: SAR 400,000 funding + 20% share (fixed-term)
- Category 2: SAR 15,000,000 funding + 10% share + job creation requirements (pathway to permanent)
- May allow nomination of team members under Special Talent (subject to rules)
Real Estate Owner
- For applicants who own or usufruct developed residential property in Saudi Arabia worth SAR 4,000,000+
Typically requires mortgage-free ownership and independent valuation
Validity is linked to maintaining ownership and eligibility, with renewals while criteria are met
Limited Duration Premium Residency (1–5 years)
- Temporary residency for defined purposes (work assignments, business projects, study, medical reasons)
- Suitable for flexibility or testing the market before a long-term commitment
- Renewal/extension may be available based on eligibility and compliance
Unlimited Duration Premium Residency (Permanent)
- Permanent residency for eligible applicants in Saudi Arabia
- May require demonstrating economic contribution (e.g., investment or business activity), plus general eligibility
- No renewal required
